I found this guy while nerding on Youtube. He has some very cool videos. Sick player and covers a lot of styles. Straight Chickin’ Pickin’ Country, Western Swing, Swing, Old Standards, Rockabilly. I posted this link so you can find him, and I figured Tommy would appreciate the Bob Wills cover.

Thanks, this guy smokes. I am for sure gonna be lifting stuff from this guy. Chord melody and Travis picking are two things I need to spend quite a bit of time on. One day I will do some pickin like this.

I thought you might dig that guy. He has some cool originals ( I will attach some of those). He also has a cool version of San Antonio Rose. I can help you with the chord melody stuff. It is something that you can definitely grasp. The concept is simple, and it is really one of those things that you can make it as hard or simple as you want to. I will shoot you a video of a basic break down of a song to explain and illustrate the concepts. Hopefully that will get you started.

We are so lucky to have youtube, easy to take it for granted sometimes. I am especially greatful for the abundance of Sean Costello videos. Since a lot of them have very few views they don’t show up in searches a lot of the time and I always discover new ones. Here is one I really dig at the moment… killer pickin.
