Don’t know if this is exactly kosher, so I’ll leave it short and sweet. Starting about 6-7 years ago I came across a few music blogs that focused on the time periods we’re interested. It required a lot of time (which I don’t have any more) to cull through these. Most of these blogs have since disappeared, but it looks like some of them have relocated.
Gretsch: I found through these sites the complete works of: Buddy Moss, Charlie Lincoln, Barbeque Bob, Blind Willie McTell, Willie Baker and much, much more–git’cha Carolina’s on.
Pack a lunch and call in sick…there is a lot still out there:

Like I said, these blogs have relocated a few times and it seems that the content has thinned in the process, but still lots of great stuff…a lot of it is ‘public domain.’
Craner,
Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I might have to get the flu next week at work so I can dig and nerd out.
Digging the links. Some cool music on them.
