Metropol FM is a German radio station which was founded in 1999 and has been broadcasting in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, and Berlin since the mid nineties. The station is also part of a much larger organization called the Media Union. Despite the fact that it’s a tad smaller than its larger cousins, it still manages to make an impression on the airwaves.

As far as programming goes, Metropol FM’s main goal is to offer a 24-hour program to the people. To achieve this objective, the station relies on a small but nimble crew of 25 employees to keep things running smoothly. The main focus of the aforementioned personnel is to provide a service to listeners that is both dependable and entertaining. They do this via a variety of means. Some of these include live broadcasts, podcasts, and online aggregators. In addition to its own radio feed, it also uses the UKW and DVB-C networks. Ultimately, Metropol FM is the station to hear if you want to catch the latest and greatest in Turkish pop music.

The aforementioned company also boasts the title of the first Turkish-language radio station in Germany. Not to be outdone, Metropol FM is the first radio station in the country to offer a 24-hour news channel. This translates into a wealth of high-quality, high-fidelity audio. Moreover, the station can be heard around the clock on DVB-C, UKW, and the likes. It’s no surprise then that it is one of the most popular stations in the nation.
