Most of us are probably aware of the Minton sessions that has been around for awhile, but I recently read Mary Osborne saying that she saw Charlie play the Seven Come Eleven head in South Dakota (before it was recorded) in his improvisation. This got me digging for some more live recordings of CC besides the Mintons and the John Hammond, From Spirituals to Swing recordings. I came across this and thought it was kinda cool and thought I’d share:
